Robotic Cine Dolly

November 26, 2023

The future of video production is poised to be an exciting and transformative one, driven by advancements in technology, evolving consumer preferences, and the ever-increasing demand for video content. Robotic cine dollies are a powerful tool for filmmakers who need to create high-quality camera movements. They offer a number of advantages over traditional dolly systems, and they are becoming increasingly popular in the professional filmmaking industry.

Hyperdolly is a foldable, three-wheeled robotic cine dolly developed for high precision camera motion. Its quiet motor and precision design allow for speeds of .27-10.6 ips (0.7-27 cm/s), with a load capacity of 26.4 lbs (12kg). The Hyperdolly features 2.4Ghz radio control. The smooth camera action, automated modes, and precise angle adjustments of the Hyperdolly enable users to produce cinema quality video. The four automated modes are Hyperlapse, Loop Mode, Multi-Pass, and Live operation. Hyperlapse allows filmmakers to set the time and distance of a shot, Loop Mode circulates between two points, Multi-Pass captures footage with a precisely repeated trajectory, and Live Operation Mode which allwos users to adjust the speed and direction in real time via remote control.
