Resin 3D Printer

February 19, 2024

3D resin printers are a type of 3D printer that uses liquid resin to create objects. They work by using a light source to cure the resin layer by layer, building up the object one layer at a time. 3D resin printers are known for their ability to produce high-resolution prints with a smooth surface finish. They are often used for printing small, intricate objects such as miniatures, jewelry, and dental models.

The Sonic Mighty Revo from Phrozen uses a 3-point piezoelectric sensor to provide smart residue detection, failure detection, and 24/7 mobile monitoring. Smart residue detection detects foreign objects between the building plate and the release film. Smart failure detection provides alerts to your mobile phone if abnormalities occur during the printing process. The 10.1 inch screen has an XY resolution of 16.8 µm x 24.8 µm. The print speed is 450 layers/hr. Features include: 5 inch touch panel, auto-leveling, a built-in heater maintaining resin temperature, air purifier, and exhaust vent.
