Haptic Gaming Vest

January 1, 2024

Haptic gaming wearables are a new breed of gaming peripherals that use vibrations, pressure, and other forms of tactile feedback to immerse players in the virtual world. Haptic vests are typically equipped with multiple vibration motors that are strategically placed to correspond to different parts of the body. They can simulate a wide range of sensations, from the gentle rumble of an engine to a virtual punch to the gut. By adding the sense of touch to the equation, haptic wearables can create a level of immersion that was never before possible.

The Woojer Vest 3 is equipped with 6 independently operated oscillators that are positioned in the vest to provide haptic feedback front, back, and side. The new Vest 3 has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery (14.4V) that is capable of 8 hours of play time on a single charge. It also supports most wireless Bluetooth headsets. One size fits most with adjustable straps and the Vest 3 weighs 3lbs (1.5kg).
