The 'uncanny valley' is the uneasy feeling people get when humanoid robots (androids) look almost like us, but we still know it is a robot. A good example of the uncanny valley are these remarkable twin humanoid robots, viewed from the inside and out, as they perform synchronized movements at Engineered Arts.
