Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration is the 2020 Breakthrough Prize Winner in Fundamental Physics for producing the first photograph of the shadow of a black hole 4 months ago. The experiment involved hundreds of collaborators across 8 telescopes, 60 institutions and 20 countries.
