AirWire is a high-performance WiFi 7 client adapter designed to bridge the performance gap between modern infrastructure and end-user hardware. It is a plug-and-play USB-C device engineered to unlock the full potential of WiFi 7 networks. Its primary innovation is the delivery of true Simultaneous Transmit and Receive Multi-Link Operation (STR MLO), which allows the device to communicate on both the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands concurrently rather than simply switching between them.

The device features a unique super-antenna system that provides up to triple the usable range of standard client devices, particularly sustaining high-speed 6 GHz connectivity at distances where other hardware would typically fail. For network visibility, AirWire includes a dedicated scanning radio that provides real-time spectrum analytics directly from the client’s perspective. This allows administrators and power users to see interference and RF environment conditions in high detail on a built-in 0.96-inch status display or through the UniFi dashboard.

AirWire supports aggregate throughput of up to 5.8 Gbps when using a 320 MHz bandwidth on WiFi 7. It is equipped with a 5 GbE USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2) to ensure the wireless speed is not bottlenecked by the physical connection to the computer or mobile device. The hardware is designed for heavy-duty use, featuring a polycarbonate chassis and an 18-watt maximum power draw. It includes an auxiliary USB-C connection to supply additional power when the device is used in its "Performance Mode," which pushes the hardware to its maximum output. The AirWire integrates into the UniFi ecosystem using the Auto-Link feature, enabling instant and secure onboarding with a single click. Compatible with macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and iPadOS, the adapter is intended for users who require fiber-like wireless performance for demanding tasks such as high-resolution video editing, large-scale data transfers, or low-latency gaming.
