Power Bank With AC

November 29, 2025

The CorePlus is a portable battery pack designed to solve a common problem for travelers and remote workers: powering devices that usually require a wall outlet. While standard power banks can charge phones and tablets via USB, the CorePlus distinguishes itself with a built-in AC outlet (the standard three-prong or two-prong plug you see on a wall). This allows it to power small appliances like laptops, drone chargers, or even mini-projectors that do not support USB charging, essentially functioning as a miniature generator that fits in a bag.

The device boasts a capacity of 27,000mAh. To put this in perspective, this amount of energy is roughly enough to recharge a standard smartphone six to seven times or a high-end laptop like a MacBook Pro nearly twice. This specific capacity is intentional; it translates to approximately 99.9 Watt-hours (Wh), which is the maximum battery size allowed in carry-on luggage by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and most international airlines. This makes it the largest battery you can legally fly with without special permission.

The CorePlus features a 200-watt AC inverter. Most power banks operate on Direct Current (DC), which is what USB ports use. However, household appliances use Alternating Current (AC). The CorePlus has internal circuitry that converts its battery power to AC, allowing you to plug in devices up to 200 watts. This is sufficient for almost all laptops, cameras, and low-power camping gear, though it is not strong enough for high-draw appliances like hair dryers or electric kettles.

In terms of connectivity, the unit is equipped with a wide array of ports to charge up to five devices simultaneously. It features three high-speed USB-C ports capable of delivering up to 140 watts, which is fast enough to charge the latest laptops at full speed. It also includes a standard USB-A port for older accessories, a DC barrel port, and a wireless charging pad on top for phones and smartwatches. A built-in OLED display provides real-time data, showing exactly how much power is entering or leaving the device and the remaining battery percentage, eliminating the guesswork of blinking LED lights.

Uniquely, the CorePlus features a modular, swappable battery design. Unlike most power banks where the battery cells are sealed inside permanently, this device allows you to detach the battery block from the main electronics module. This means if you run out of power, you can simply swap in a fresh battery pack (sold separately) rather than waiting hours for the unit to recharge. This modularity also potentially extends the product's lifespan, as you can replace just the degraded battery cells after years of use without discarding the expensive electronic controller.
