Portable Laser Show Projector
December 26, 2025
The Laserabc L1 is a portable laser show projector, aiming to bring professional-grade light entertainment into the hands of everyday consumers. Designed with a small footprint, its primary appeal lies in its portability--the L1 is handheld and battery-operated. The L1's technology uses a high-speed galvanometer system. A galvo is a tiny mirror mounted on a motor that vibrates at incredibly high speeds to deflect a laser beam. By moving two of these mirrors—one for the X-axis and one for the Y-axis—the device can draw shapes, text, and animations faster than the human eye can track, creating the illusion of solid images. The L1 utilizes a full RGB laser diode setup, meaning it mixes Red, Green, and Blue light to produce a wide spectrum of colors, rather than being limited to a single color like a standard laser pointer.
Control of the device is managed wirelessly through a dedicated smartphone application. Users do not need to learn complex DMX lighting protocols or specialized PC software typically used by lighting engineers. The app offers a variety of preset modes, including sound-reactive visualizations where the laser patterns pulse and change in sync with music picked up by the phone's microphone. For more creative users, the app includes drawing tools that allow you to sketch on your phone screen and see the laser project that drawing in real-time on a wall or surface.
Powering this compact system is a built-in rechargeable lithium battery, which provides approximately four hours of continuous use on a full charge. Safety is a critical component of any laser product, and the L1 addresses this with several integrated features. It automatically cuts the beam if the device is tipped over or moved too aggressively, preventing the concentrated beam from staying in one spot and potentially causing heat damage.
