The Bambu Lab H2S is a high-performance single-nozzle 3D printer designed to meet the growing demand for large-format, precision printing without the complexity of dual-extrusion systems. With a massive build volume of 340 × 320 × 340 millimeters, the H2S prints multi-part assemblies in fewer segments with stronger, cleaner joins.

The H2S is built for speed and accuracy. It features a toolhead capable of reaching up to 1000 millimeters per second with acceleration rates of 20,000 millimeters per second squared. This is made possible by a lightweight, high-flow hotend and Bambu Lab’s proprietary PMSM servo motor system, which delivers more extrusion force than conventional stepper motors. Real-time control over filament flow results in smoother lines, cleaner corners, and consistent layer adhesion—even with high-viscosity or fiber-reinforced materials.

A 350°C hotend paired with a 65°C actively heated chamber allows the H2S to handle a wide range of filaments, from everyday PLA to engineering-grade composites like carbon fiber nylon and PPA. The heated chamber minimizes warping and improves layer bonding, making it suitable for functional parts that need to perform under stress.

The H2S includes 23 sensors and three onboard cameras that track motion health, filament behavior, and print progression. This sensor fusion enables predictive safeguards, catching anomalies before they lead to failed prints or wasted material. Precision is further enhanced by optional Vision Encoder technology, which tightens motion accuracy to under 50 microns. Combined with Auto Hole and Contour Compensation, the H2S can produce fit-critical parts with machine-shop-level tolerances. The H2S also supports multi-color printing through the AMS 2 system, which can be expanded to handle up to 24 filaments. For users seeking even more versatility, the printer can be upgraded with laser engraving and cutting modules, transforming it into a full personal manufacturing hub.
