Optical Tracking 3D Scanner
July 13, 2025
The Revopoint Trackit is a high-end optical tracking 3D scanner designed to deliver marker-free precision scanning across a wide range of object sizes and surface types. Engineered for professionals in industries such as aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, and digital art, Trackit combines a dual-camera base station with a handheld scanner to capture detailed 3D models without the need for physical markers or scanning spray.
The Revopoint Trackit is equipped with a 700-watt blue laser module that operates in two modes: a 30-line cross-laser configuration for scanning large, reflective, or dark surfaces, and a single-line laser for capturing deep holes, narrow crevices, and fine details. This dual-mode flexibility allows users to switch between broad surface coverage and precision scanning depending on the task.
Trackit’s optical tracking system supports a working distance of 5 to 13 feet (1.5 to 4 meters) and covers a maximum tracking frame of 110 by 110 inches (2800 by 2800 mm). The scanner itself captures up to 1.5 million points per second with a single-frame accuracy of 0.02 mm and a fused point distance of 0.05 mm. Volumetric accuracy is maintained across the scanning field, enabling clean frame stitching and consistent results even when repositioning the base station.
The system features auto-calibration via a dual-axis gimbal, eliminating manual setup and reducing human error. Its carbon fiber frame ensures structural stability and long-term durability, while the infrared tracking band and high-resolution RGB camera enable realistic texture mapping and real-time point cloud monitoring.
