Magnetic Phone Controller

The M4 Snap-On Magnetic Phone Controller is a compact gaming accessory designed by Abxylute to solve the common problem of carrying bulky controllers for mobile gaming. Unlike traditional mobile gamepads that clamp onto the sides of a phone and significantly increase its width, the M4 utilizes a magnetic attachment system. It is roughly the size of a deck of cards and weighs only 56 grams, making it small enough to slide into a pocket alongside a smartphone. The device is built to bridge the gap between touchscreen controls, which can be imprecise and block the view of the game, and full-sized console controllers that are difficult to transport.
The primary mechanism of the M4 is its magnetic backing, which is designed to work natively with the MagSafe technology found on newer Apple iPhones. For Android users or those with older devices, the controller comes with a magnetic adhesive ring that can be attached to the back of a phone or phone case. When the user is ready to play, the controller snaps onto the back of the phone. Once attached, it allows the user to hold the phone in a landscape orientation with the controller positioned comfortably below the screen, creating a setup that resembles a portable gaming console but with a much smaller footprint.
Despite its small size, the M4 includes a full suite of physical controls familiar to console gamers. It features two analog sticks for movement and camera control, a directional pad (D-pad) for navigating menus or playing retro games, and the standard four face buttons. It also includes four shoulder buttons on the top edge, acting as triggers and bumpers. Because the device connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 rather than a physical plug, it is highly versatile. It can be detached from the phone entirely and used as a standalone remote controller for a laptop, tablet, or even a Nintendo Switch, offering flexibility that wired controllers cannot match.
Powering the device is an internal rechargeable battery that offers approximately 10 to 13 hours of continuous gameplay on a single charge. The circular magnetic component on the back is precision-milled from aluminum alloy and serves a dual purpose: it acts as the attachment point for the phone, but it can also fold out to function as a sturdy kickstand. This allows users to prop up their phone on a table and play with the controller in their hands.
