Lightweight AR Glasses
February 26, 2026
The VIZO Z1 Pro is a new generation of lightweight AR glasses designed to provide a cinematic viewing experience in a portable form factor. Weighing only 63 grams, these glasses are among the lightest on the market, yet they are capable of projecting a massive 160-inch virtual screen. The device features a frameless, futuristic design that maximizes the field of view, making it an ideal companion for immersive gaming, high-definition movie watching, and mobile productivity.
The display technology is a Micro-OLED system that delivers an industry-leading peak brightness of 6,000 nits (approximately 1,500 nits to-eye brightness). The glasses support Full HD resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and cover at least 98% of the color gamut, providing exceptional color accuracy. Additionally, the Z1 Pro includes independent diopter adjustment for each eye, allowing near-sighted users to achieve a perfect focus without the need for additional prescription lens inserts.
The VIZO Z1 Pro is designed for integration with a wide variety of devices, including the PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, smartphones, and laptops. A significant technical highlight is its native support for SteamVR; using high-precision IMU and 3DOF tracking software, it allows users to engage in VR gaming without extra sensors. The glasses also feature a dynamic island-style on-screen display for intuitive control of volume and brightness, alongside built-in speakers for a complete audiovisual experience.
