The Umi operates in seven distinct modes, each offering a different personality and behavior. These modes allow users to tailor their robot’s responses, whether for relaxation, playful engagement, or interactive companionship. Additionally, multiple Umi robots can be placed together, enabling them to communicate and react to each other’s presence.

Connectivity of the Ortomi Umi is through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing seamless updates and customization.
