For Apple users, the lock supports Home Key, allowing tap-to-unlock access via iPhone or Apple Watch. Two NFC key fobs are also included for quick, secure entry without needing a phone.

The lock fits into the bore hole of a standard deadbolt and requires only a screwdriver to set up. Once installed, the motorized mechanism is powered by a single CR2 battery cleverly hidden inside the bolt itself. The lock includes auto-locking, activity history, guest access sharing, and a new door status detection feature that senses whether the door is open or closed—without relying on external magnets or stickers. For those who prefer traditional access, the lock includes two physical keys and supports an optional keypad for PIN-based entry.
