E-bike Converter
June 14, 2025
The Kamingo e-bike converter is a compact and powerful system designed to transform standard bicycles into electric-assisted rides within minutes. Unlike traditional conversion kits that require extensive installation, Kamingo offers a modular, tool-free setup that allows users to switch between manual and electric modes easily.
At the core of the Kamingo system is a high-efficiency motor that delivers up to 750W of peak power, providing smooth acceleration and reliable performance with a top speed of 15 mph (25km/h). The motor is mounted on the rear wheel using a quick-lock base, ensuring a secure fit while maintaining the bike’s original aesthetics. With a torque output of 40 Nm (29.5 lb-ft), the system enables riders to tackle inclines and long distances with minimal effort.
The converter includes a lightweight battery that fits into a standard water bottle cage, making it easy to install and remove. Powered by a 266Wh battery, it offers a range of up to 90 km (55 miles) per charge, with a fast-charging capability that replenishes power in just three hours. The system also features regenerative braking, which helps extend battery life by recovering energy during deceleration.
Kamingo’s handlebar-mounted controller allows users to switch between three riding modes: Standby for traditional cycling, Assist for adaptive pedal support, and Cruise for throttle-powered riding. The controller displays speed, range, and battery level, ensuring riders have real-time data at their fingertips. Designed for versatility, the Kamingo e-bike converter is compatible with most bicycle types, including city, road, gravel, and mountain bikes. Its compact form factor, weighing just 5.1 lbs (2.3 kg), ensures portability and easy storage when not in use.
