The NestWorks C500 desktop CNC combines a rigid mechanical frame, high-speed spindle, and intelligent control system into a plug-and-play platform. Designed to bridge the gap between hobbyist machines and industrial routers, the C500 offers a working area of approximately 9.06 × 8.39 × 5.4 inches (230 × 213 × 100 mm), with the automatic tool changer installed.

The C500 features a 800W air-cooled spindle capable of reaching 18,000 RPM, driven by a closed-loop servo system for high torque and precise motion control. The machine uses industrial-grade linear rails and ball screws on all axes, ensuring repeatability within ±0.027 degrees.

The C500 also introduces AI-assisted features such as automatic tool length measurement, surface probing, and vibration analysis. These functions reduce setup time and improve cut quality by dynamically adjusting feed rates and spindle speeds based on material feedback. A built-in camera enables visual alignment and part recognition, streamlining workflows for repeat jobs or multi-part fixtures.
