Compact Entertainment Hub
August 11, 2025
The JMGO PicoPlay is a compact entertainment hub that redefines portable projection by blending a smart projector, immersive Bluetooth speaker, and ambient lighting into a sleek, travel-friendly device. Designed for movie nights, outdoor gatherings, and spontaneous parties, the PicoPlay delivers a cinematic experience in a form factor no larger than a coffee mug.
At its core, the PicoPlay features a 1080p Full HD LED projector with 400 ISO lumens of brightness, capable of casting visuals up to 200 inches (508 centimeters) diagonally. It supports HDR10 content and covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring vibrant, accurate colors in dark environments. While best suited for nighttime or low-light settings, the projector still performs admirably in shaded indoor spaces, thanks to its 85 percent brightness uniformity and 400:1 contrast ratio.
The device’s 88-degree rotating gimbal allows flexible projection angles, whether aimed at a wall, ceiling, or tent canopy. A built-in ToF sensor enables real-time autofocus, auto keystone correction, and adaptive brightness, simplifying setup and ensuring sharp visuals without manual adjustment. Smart eye protection features also reduce glare and prevent discomfort during extended viewing.
Beyond projection, the PicoPlay doubles as a Bluetooth speaker with 8-watt Dolby Digital audio. The top-mounted ring light pulses in sync with music, adding a dynamic visual element to parties or chill sessions. Users can stream directly from Google TV, with access to over 10,000 apps and 800 live channels, including Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. Powering the PicoPlay is a USB-C input compatible with 65-watt power banks or JMGO’s optional battery tripod, offering up to 3 hours of video playback or 7 hours of music. The device includes 32 GB of internal storage and supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 for seamless connectivity.
