Cognitive AI Robot Pool Cleaner
January 12, 2026
The Aiper Scuba V3 is a cognitive AI-powered essential robotic pool cleaner, designed to automate pool maintenance with advanced intelligence and ease of use. Released as part of Aiper's 2026 lineup, the device features a suite of AI technologies aimed at optimizing cleaning efficiency and adaptability. The Scuba V3's features a Cognitive AI Navium Mode, which autonomously generates cleaning plans by analyzing factors such as pool size, weather conditions, and historical cleaning data. This system is supported by VisionPath Adaptive Path Planning, which combines AI vision with dToF sensors to map the pool and create efficient cleaning routes that avoid obstacles and prevent repetitive coverage. The robot also features AI Patrol Cleaning, which can detect over 20 types of debris within a 2-meter range and target specific dirty areas.
In terms of hardware, the Scuba V3 is equipped with a powerful motor delivering 4,800 GPH of suction, paired with dual brushes to scrub surfaces effectively. It utilizes a MicroMesh multi-layer filtration system to capture fine particles and ensure thorough cleaning. A standout feature is the JetAssist technology, which aids in horizontal waterline cleaning, allowing the robot to scrub the often-difficult tile line area. For low-light conditions, the unit includes dual LED lights that enable its vision system to perform intelligent cleaning at night.
The design prioritizes user convenience, featuring a featherlight body weighing approximately 18.1 pounds (8.2 kg), which allows for one-handed operation. It includes a compact charging dock for wireless powering and supports waterline retrieval, where the robot can be summoned to the surface and sends real-time alerts to the companion app. Additionally, Aiper emphasizes privacy with TÜV-certified data protection, ensuring that images used for navigation are processed locally without being stored or uploaded.
