The Ayaneo Pocket S2 is a high-performance Android handheld gaming console that blends flagship-level hardware with a compact, ergonomic design. As the first device to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset, it delivers a significant leap in both CPU and GPU performance. The Pocket S2 features a 6.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, offering a pixel density of 466 PPI and brightness up to 600 nits. This screen supports a 120 percent sRGB color gamut and 90 percent DCI-P3. The display is framed by ultra-narrow bezels and protected by a seamless glass panel.

The Pocket S2 is available in two main variants: the standard model and the Pocket S2 Pro. The standard version includes an 8,000 mAh battery and supports 40W fast charging, while the Pro model upgrades to a 10,000 mAh battery with 60W PD charging. Both models support bypass charging, which helps preserve battery health during extended play sessions.

Internally, the device is powered by an octa-core CPU with a prime core clocked at 3.3 GHz and an Adreno A33 GPU. It supports up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, with microSD expansion available. The active cooling system includes a large copper plate and fin array, enabling the device to sustain a 20W TDP without thermal throttling. The Pro model includes a detachable D-pad module, allowing users to switch between standard and eight-way directional pads. Both models feature TMR electromagnetic joysticks with RGB lighting, linear Hall-effect triggers, and dual X-axis linear motors for immersive haptic feedback.

Running Android 14, the Pocket S2 includes Ayaneo’s AYASpace software suite, which offers performance profiles, key remapping, device spoofing for enhanced game compatibility, and retro game management tools. The device also supports USB-C video output, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
