All Weather Humanoid Robot

October 14, 2025

The DR02 humanoid robot from DEEPRobotics is a full-size, industrial-grade humanoid capable of operating in harsh outdoor environments. With its IP66-rated waterproof and dustproof design, modular architecture, and high-performance motion system, the DR02 is built to perform real-world tasks across diverse industries—from logistics and manufacturing to security and infrastructure maintenance.

Standing 5 feet 7 inches (175 cm) tall and weighing 143 pounds (65 kg), the DR02 is designed with human-like proportions to navigate and interact within existing workspaces. It can walk at speeds up to 3.3 miles per hour (1.5 m/s) during normal operation and reach bursts of 9 mph (4 m/s) for emergency tasks. The robot can climb stairs up to 8 inches (20 cm) high, traverse 20-degree slopes, and maintain balance on uneven terrain.

One of the DR02’s most groundbreaking features is its ability to operate in extreme conditions. With a temperature tolerance ranging from –4°F to 131°F (–20°C to 55°C), it can function in cold storage facilities, hot industrial zones, and rainy or humid outdoor settings. This resilience addresses a long-standing limitation in humanoid robotics: the inability to perform reliably outside controlled environments.

The robot’s limbs are modular and quick-detach, allowing for rapid replacement and maintenance. The modular design reduces downtime and simplifies upgrades, making the DR02 a scalable solution for evolving industrial needs. Equipped with a computing unit rated at 275 TOPS (trillions of operations per second), the DR02 processes real-time data for motion control, obstacle avoidance, and task execution. Its multi-sensor array includes LiDAR, depth cameras, and wide-angle vision systems, allowing it to perceive its surroundings and plan paths dynamically.
