The PLAUD NotePin is a wearable AI note-taking device designed to be a lightweight, hands-free recorder that captures conversations and transforms them into structured text. The device is notably compact, measuring just over two inches long and weighing only 0.59 ounces. It is built to be worn in multiple ways, such as a magnetic pin, a clip on a collar, a wristband, or a necklace, allowing users to integrate it seamlessly into their daily attire.

Hardware specifications for the NotePin include two high-fidelity MEMS microphones that capture clear audio within a range of approximately ten feet. It is equipped with a 270mAh battery that supports up to 20 hours of continuous recording and offers a standby time of 40 days. For storage, the device comes with 64GB of internal memory, which is sufficient for storing a vast amount of audio data locally. It connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and notably supports Apple's Find My network, helping users locate the device if it is ever lost.

The NotePin offers AI transcription in 112 languages, capable of distinguishing between different speakers and recognizing custom vocabulary tailored to specific industries like medicine or law. Beyond simple transcription, the device provides multidimensional summaries using over 10,000 professional templates. These templates can automatically generate various formats such as mind maps, meeting minutes, or action items depending on the user's needs. Data privacy and security are emphasized, with the device complying with major standards including HIPAA, GDPR, SOC II, and ISO 27001.
