AI Mechanical STEM Kit

October 15, 2025

The ELECFREAKS micro:bit Nezha Pro AI Mechanical Power Kit is a STEM education platform that blends mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, and creative programming into one immersive experience. Designed for students aged 7 to 14, this kit transforms abstract coding concepts into tangible, interactive machines—bridging the gap between digital logic and physical motion.

The Nezha Pro features a versatile micro:bit-compatible controller equipped with eight sensor ports and four closed-loop motor interfaces. These RJ11 ports feature anti-misinsertion design and color-coded labels, making it easy for young learners to connect PlanetX sensors and motors correctly. The board supports both traditional programming and a simplified mode, allowing users to control motor direction with physical buttons—ideal for beginners who want to experiment without writing code.

The kit includes 500+ building blocks and 8 electronic sensors, enabling students to construct a wide range of mechanical systems such as robotic arms, vehicles, and sports-themed machines. High-performance encoded motors provide precise control and strong torque. The kit features a voice recognition module, gesture sensor, and color detection system, allowing users to build robots that respond to spoken commands or hand movements. These capabilities introduce learners to real-world applications of artificial intelligence, such as autonomous navigation, object recognition, and human-machine interaction.

To guide users through the learning process, ELECFREAKS provides 16 themed projects that cover topics ranging from basic mechanical transmission to advanced AI programming. Each case is designed to foster spatial reasoning, logical thinking, and creative problem-solving. The projects are supported by visual programming environments like MakeCode, which allow students to drag and drop code blocks to control motors, sensors, and AI functions.
