AI Litter Robot

KLASSY is an AI-powered automatic litter cleaning robot designed to be a data-driven health monitoring system. Developed by Klassy Pet Corporation, this device combines mechanical innovation with intelligent software and a sealed disposable tray system compatible with clumping clay or health-indicating crystal litter. After each use, the robot initiates a cleaning cycle that includes a zig-zag rake motion and optional vibration assistance to break up clumps and preserve clean litter. The waste is deposited into a UV-C sterilized bin, which activates only when sealed to minimize microbial growth and odor. This approach eliminates the need for deep cleaning and manual scooping, while maintaining a hygienic environment for both cats and humans.

KLASSY’s Auto Top-Up feature ensures the litter bed remains at the optimal depth. After each cleaning cycle, the system checks the litter level and, if needed, dispenses a precise dose of clumping clay using a micro auger. This maintains consistent rake performance and odor control, while reducing the risk of jams and uneven clumping. The feature is disabled for crystal litter to prevent overfill.

Beyond cleaning, KLASSY functions as a health monitoring platform. It tracks weight, visit frequency, duration, and long-visit rates using load cells and presence sensors. The system benchmarks these metrics against similar cats by breed, age, and weight band, providing percentile-based insights. Advanced trays can detect biomarkers such as pH, glucose, ketones, and protein, offering early warnings for potential health issues. All data is processed locally and shared only with user consent, ensuring privacy and control.

The companion app allows users to generate vet-ready reports with one tap, summarizing 30-day trends and benchmark comparisons. These reports can be exported in PDF or CSV format, making them useful for routine checkups or when symptoms arise. KLASSY also includes a backup battery for power outages, triplex safety sensors, and a quiet operation profile averaging 35–45 dBA.
