AI E-Note

The TCL Note A1 NXTPAPER is a digital note-taking tablet designed to bridge the gap between traditional E-Ink devices and standard LCD tablets. It features TCL's NXTPAPER Pure display technology, which utilizes a matte, paper-like LCD screen rather than electronic ink. This design aims to eliminate the slow refresh rates and ghosting common to E-Ink while still reducing glare and eye strain through anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint coatings.
The tablet sports an 11.5-inch display with a resolution of 2200 x 1440 pixels and a 3:2 aspect ratio, offering a canvas that supports 16.7 million colors. Unlike standard E-Ink tablets that are often limited to monochrome or muted colors, the Note A1 provides a full-color experience with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and writing. The screen is capable of reaching 300 nits of brightness and is TUV-certified for low blue light emissions to enhance reading comfort.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for documents and notes. It includes an 8,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, ensuring extended usage times suitable for all-day work. The tablet is encased in an aerospace-grade aluminum body, measuring just 5.5mm in thickness and weighing approximately 500 grams.
The Note A1 includes an eight-microphone array designed for high-quality audio recording and real-time AI transcription. Integrated AI tools allow for handwriting-to-text conversion, automatic meeting summaries, and translation services. The device comes with the T-Pen Pro stylus, which features 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity, a built-in eraser, and ultra-low latency of under 5 milliseconds to replicate the feel of writing on real paper. A 13-megapixel rear camera is also included for scanning documents directly into notes.
