Four Color 3D Printer

January 9, 2026

The Creality SparkX i7 is a beginner-friendly desktop 3D printer that debuted at CES 2026. Designed as a lifestyle printer, it emphasizes ease of use, aesthetic appeal, and accessible multicolor printing capabilities. The printer features a fully automatic leveling system and a toolless quick-swap hotend that can be changed in seconds. It is equipped with a programmable RGB light bar that indicates printing status and includes a Night Mode for ultra-quiet operation with all lights turned off. A built-in 720p AI camera provides smart monitoring, automatically detecting print failures such as spaghetti issues, air printing, and tangles. Additionally, the unique CubeMe feature utilizes AI to convert 2D portraits into printable 3D models, simplifying the creation process for novices.

Multicolor printing is a core capability of the SparkX i7, primarily enabled by the CFS Lite (Color Filament System). This external unit holds four filament spools and supports automatic filament changing, allowing for vibrant, multi-colored prints. The CFS Lite features a sealed design with desiccant to keep materials dry and utilizes RFID technology for automatic filament identification. For users who prioritize continuous printing over multicolor output, an alternative Autofill Combo is available with the CFS Mini, an open-rack system that holds two spools for automatic backup feeding.

In terms of performance, the SparkX i7 offers a build volume of 260 x 260 x 255 mm and achieves print speeds of up to 500 mm/s with an acceleration of 10,000 mm/s². It features a direct drive extruder and an all-metal hotend capable of reaching 300°C, making it compatible with a wide range of materials including PLA, PETG, TPU, and PLA-CF. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) and USB, with cloud integration provided via the Creality Cloud platform.
