10.11.10 -  I added more links today, on many different pages. It seems that I have gotten into a rut, by reviewing and posting links from a small number of sources. I am now trying to post quality links from more sources.  - ffa

10.06.10 -  Medical Imaging - I added an article on a new technique to film embryos to help prevent octomoms. "Once the technique is available for use in IVF clinics, it should eliminate the need to simultaneously implant several embryos into the uterus – a practice used to increase the chances of successful pregnancy. It could also prevent the problems associated with multiple pregnancy, which occurs when several of the implanted embryos go on to develop successfully."  - ffa

10.02.10 -  Here is a new solar energy sub-page on artificial leaves. It describes new biomimetic research into converting sunlight into electricity.  Artificial leaves.  - ffa

09.28.10 -  added a new page on nanobots.  - ffa

09.13.10 - I added a new page on the Future of Privacy.  - ffa

09.08.10 - Here is a good site about the future. World in Future  - ffa

09.06.10 - I added lots of links to the science homework help section. Also more college and career links. - ffa

08.20.10 - The nanotechnology section update is complete. This technology is really starting to take off. I may have doubled the number of nano related article and web site links from a year ago. Now I'll be working on updating the student section homework help and career links. - ffa

08.19.10 - Added over 30 new links in the nanotechnology section today. Should finish by tomorrow. - ffa

08.16.10 - In preparation for students returning to school, I will be updating the links on all pages. I started with updating the biotechnology page with over 20 new links to web sites and recent articles. - ffa

08.07.10 - this is the coolest educational site ever! - Dude

07.28.10 - Transistors can operate anywhere between 0v and supply voltage. Most computers not only use them in digital but in analog applications as well. To say they \'only\' have two states is incorrect. - War harris

07.19.10 - Two thumbs up on the site. I was bored today and wondered if there was anything on the web that I could find that would go into detail on the impact and development of future technology. I was blown back with some of the information I found here, and didn't think much of what is being worked on today could be achieved in such a relatively short amount of time.

I would also like to add that one of your objectives "Encourage young people to think about their future and to consider careers in science." I am currently looking where to set my career path and your site has gotten me interested. Is there any information I can find on where to start, as in college courses or so? Thanks for your time! - Carmen

Hi Carmen, Thank you! I REALLY appreciate your comments. Check this section for career and education guidance. -ffa

07.19.10 - Very small free roaming particles lifetime very short. free photons, free neutron, free proton, free electron, vs. And their lifetime is its energy Mc2. Protons are observed to be stable and their theoretical minimum half-life is 1x10\'36 years. Grand unified theories generally predict. That proton decay should take place, although experiments so far have only resulted in a lower limit 10\'35 years for proton\'s lifetime. I see that. The earth lifetime is its Mc\'2 energy. When this is calculated the lifetime of earth. Earth Mass= 5.97x10\'24 kg. the lifetime 1 kg of mass in space is 2851927903,26 years. Earth Lifetime is 1.7x10\'34 years. I think that, this is a very interesting result.

07.11.10 - A deep thinker and futurologist myself, I believe there are a few things missing (Future Technology Predictions)...
Resonance power. Using undiscovered forms of energy to move objects. This form of energy may even cause "missing time".

Hyperexcited plasma. This type of plasma could be used to phase through solid objects. It may also be used to provide the ability of flight.

Ultraterrestialism. The ability to exist in multiple universes/dimensions at one time.

Solar mutualism. Directly taking plasma from the sun and using it to power devices.

Solar creation. Creating man-made suns.

Cyberkinesis. Cyberspace telekinesis (we have already achieved this!)

Technologic superheroes/villains. Using technology to become a real life super-hero or super-villain.

Liquid Metallic Hydrogren reactor. Using liquid metallic hydrogen, and eventually liquid metal anything, for experiments in energy.

Return of Manna. Algea superfood that is easy to produce and is omnipotently healthy. Humans can survive on this and nothing else for extended periods of time.

Railgun space station- Before light speed or teleportation travel, there may be rail-gun space stations used to shoot projectiles, drones, etc. into deep space at millions of miles per hour.

Matter Reformation. Taking any piece of matter and turning it into something entirly different (trash or feces into food or plastic)

Shipless Space Travel- After Ultraterrestrialism, there will be no need to use ships for space travel any longer.

Light sabers. They WILL come.

Futuro-Collectivism. We will all move beyond capitalism one day, because if we evolve, we'll become a collective. It may not be communism as much as it is mutualism.

07.07.10 - I added two new pages. Regenerative Medicine and Technology and Privacy. - ffa

06.22.10 - I apologize for the feedback form not working for a few days. I messed up the new feedback form designed to stop spam. It should be working now.

06.15.10 - The State of the Arts 2010 Symposium is a one-day international event taking place both in Los Angeles and virtually through webcast to a global audience, designed to highlight the unique marriage of art, media and technology. Saturday, June 19th.  - ffa

06.15.10 -  At the World Future Society conference, July 8-10 at The Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, a thousand of the world’s top minds and thought-leaders will examine the major issues of the twenty-first century.  - ffa

06.13.10 - I am very much impressed with your coverage of future technology. Hope to get the regular feedback on the subject. - manoj

06.05.10 - Searched for something completely different, but found your website! And have to say thanks. Nice read. Will come back. - sunglasses shop
